There are many questions our clients ask us when considering working with us, so we thought we’d answer the most common questions here.
How long have you been in the business of general contracting?
How long have you been in the business of general contracting?
ARC Services started in May of 2015. Our company owner was born and raised in Las Vegas and has over 30 years of construction experience behind him.
Can I see your certificate of insurance?
Yes, you can. We are happy to provide our certificate of insurance upon request.
Will you obtain the permits and set up the inspections required for my job?
If necessary, we will obtain permits and schedule inspections with the proper municipality.
Will you provide a timeline for completion?
Yes, a schedule will be provided for every project.
Will you provide a payment schedule?
Yes, mutually agreed payment terms will be determined prior to scheduling.
Will the same team be working on my property each day?
Depending on the complexity of your project will determine if a dedicated team manages the entire project. This will be discussed prior to any contract execution.
Who is the project manager, and what specifically will he oversee each day?
The project manager is responsible for managing the job. They will be your point of contact from start to finish. Day-to-day work will be managed by our field foreman.
Do you work with subcontractors?
Our vetting process is maintained annually to ensure our sub-contractors pass background and insurance requirements to be on your property. This is a requirement from our clients/carriers.
How often will the business owner check in on the progress of the project?
The owner does not visit every project; however, he does check in on each project weekly at our staff meeting.
What way will you stay in touch with me?
ARC Services will ask you your preferred method of contact when the initial job intake is made: phone call, text, or email.
Do I need to remove any items that are in or near work areas?
We can do content manipulation; however, the fragile items will have to be moved by the owner.
What will the noise level be like?
It is always best to anticipate the noise level to be uncomfortable. “You cannot make an omelet without breaking some eggs.”
Do you need me to be on-site at any point during the day?
This is the prerogative of the client. We can provide a lockbox to assist with scheduling conflicts.
How will you clean up at the end of the day?
Work areas are to be left in a broom-swept condition at the end of each workday.
How and where will tools and materials be stored if the job spans multiple days?
A staging area will be agreed upon prior to the end of the working day.
Will you use tarps to cover large furniture items and surfaces in work areas?
Yes, furniture in the work areas will be protected by plastic prior to commencement of work.
Will crew members wear shoe coverings when they enter my property?
Yes, shoe covers or plastic runners are utilized.
How will additional charges be dealt with?
Changes are allowed by the client and are executed upon a written change order. The change order will have to be satisfied prior to the commencement of the work.
Is there a warranty for your service or for the materials you'll be using?
ARC Services provides a (1) year warranty on workmanship and the material warranties are per the manufacturer’s specifications.
How often can I expect an update from you?
Updates are provided daily during the life cycle of your project. If any delay were to occur, we will notify the client as soon as possible.
